Abstract:After flam eretardant finishingw ith agentAP, the rubbing fastness of the dark suede decreased obviously. Then, the miprovement of rubbing fastness by different kinds ofanticrocking agentand softening agentwas also discussed. The final results showed that the decrease of rubbing fastness could be overcom e combining polyurethane anticrocking agentYL w ith softening agent PS or sm ooth agent PN.

There are two main methods for producing flame retardant textiles. First, flame retardant fibers are directly used. Second, flame retardant properties of conventional textiles are imparted by post-finishing methods [1~3]. Although the former has excellent flame retardant properties, the cost is relatively high, and it is mainly concentrated in chemical fibers, and the application surface is narrow. The finishing method mainly includes padding flame retardant finishing and coating flame retardant finishing . Among them, the padding flame retardant finishing is widely used because of its simple, flexible processing and wide application range. However, it often encounters some problems in actual production, such as color change, friction fastness, etc. Especially for dark microfiber fabrics, after rubbing and flame retardant finishing, the dry rubbing fastness sometimes drops by 2 the above. Through a lot of trial exploration and production practice, the author effectively solved the problem of the reduction of friction fastness of flame retardant finishing.
1.1 Materials, reagents and equipment
Material Black suede (ultra-fine polyester fabric).
Auxiliary Flame Retardant AP, rubbing fastness improver YL, AM, SL, softener PS, smoothing agent PN, penetrant JFC.
Instruments and equipment Y (B) 571B rubbing fastness tester, oven, vertical small rolling car.
1.2 flame retardant finishing
Padding (one dipping and one rolling, the rolling rate is 75%) → drying (140 ° C × 1 min)
1.2.2 Effect of process prescription on the rubbing fastness of black suede
(1) The rubbing fastness improver process recipe uses the formula of Table 1 to treat the suede with flame retardant treatment.
(2) Softener process prescription
Compare the effects of two common softeners, PS and PN, on the rubbing fastness of the fabric. The flame retardant finishing working solution was prepared according to the formulation of Table 2.
1.3 rubbing fastness test
The rubbing fastness tester was used, and the rubbing fastness of the fabric before and after the staining and flame retardant finishing was evaluated by GB 251-1995 "Gray sample card for assessing staining".
2 results and discussion
2.1 Effect of rubbing fastness enhancer on friction fastness
The dry and wet rubbing fastness of black suede is 4 and 3 to 4 before flame retardant finishing. It can be clearly seen from Table 3 that the flame retardant AP has a great influence on the dry rubbing fastness of the black suede, which is decreased by one step. There are three main reasons for this: First, dark microfiber fabrics have been added with additives during dyeing and dyeing to improve their rubbing fastness. After flame retardant finishing, these additives are destroyed. Secondly, the flame retardant mostly belongs to organic nitrogen and phosphorus compounds [5~6]. When flame retardant finishing, the flame retardant penetrates into the gaps, holes and fiber surface of the fabric, and the dye will be high from the fiber. The concentration region migrates to the flame retardant layer on the surface of the fiber; thirdly, the flame retardant is generally a relatively viscous liquid, and after the flame retardant finishing, the friction factor of the surface of the fabric increases, resulting in a significant decrease in dry rubbing fastness.
The three kinds of rubbing fastness improvers have different effects on the improvement of the rubbing fastness, and the rubbing fastness improver YL has obvious effects, which is related to the structure types of the three rubbing fastness improvers. The polyurethane fast rubbing improver YL can form a flexible and smooth film on the surface of the suede, which can protect the fabric surface and reduce the friction coefficient of the fabric surface. The rubbing fastness improver SL belongs to Silicone polymer, although it has a small friction factor, it does not protect the surface of the fabric as much as polyurethane, and because of its flammability, it also has an adverse effect on the flame retardant effect; the rubbing fastness improver AM belongs to melamine, mainly It has a certain cross-linking effect, but the suede fabric belongs to polyester microfiber fabric, which is dyed with disperse dyes. The cross-linking effect of melamine has little effect on the flame retardant and disperse dye, so there is no improvement on the rubbing fastness. . Therefore, in the test of the effect of softener on the rubbing fastness, the rubbing fastness improver YL was selected.
The combination of flame retardant, polyurethane rubbing fastness improver and smoothing agent can effectively solve the problem of the reduction of rubbing fastness by padding and flame retardant finishing of suede fabrics. The dry and wet rubbing fastness of the product after flame retardant finishing is the same as that of the original cloth, and there is no drop. In general, the rubbing fastness enhancer dosage is 10~30g/L, and the smoothing agent dosage is 10~30g/L, which can achieve good results. For other velvet fabrics, this flame retardant formulation process can also achieve the effect of improving the rubbing fastness.
