The scientific name of polyimide fiber is the general name of polyamide fiber produced in China.It is called nylon internationally.High strength, wear resistance, good flexibility. Can be used for pure and blended fabrics and knitwear.The main varieties are polyamide 6 and polyamide 66, which have similar physical properties.Polyamide has better hygroscopicity and dyeing properties than polyester, is alkali resistant but not acid resistant, and its fiber strength will decrease when exposed to sunlight for a long time.Polyamide has a thermosetting property that preserves the bending deformation formed when heated.

Short polyamide filament can be made of stretch yarn, silk and wool and acrylic blended yarn, in order to improve its strength and elasticity. In addition to the application in clothing and adornment, also widely used in industry such as tyre cord, belts, hoses, ropes, nets, tires, parachute, etc.

Polyamide definition

Nylon fiber is the Chinese name of synthetic fiber nylon. It is also translated as nylon or nylon. The broad variety of polyamide

Polyamide fiber fabrics can be divided into pure spinning, blending and interleaving three categories, each of which contains many varieties.

1.Various fabrics woven from polyamide silk, such as polyamide taffeta, polyamide crepe, etc.It is made of polyamide filament yarn, so it has the characteristics of smooth hand, strong durability and moderate price.Polyamide taffeta is used for light clothing, down jackets or raincoat fabrics, while polyamide crepe is suitable for summer dresses, spring and autumn jackets.

The most common polyamide products on the market are polyamide 6 and polyamide 66.

Polycaprolactam 6: the full name is polycaprolactam fiber, by caprolactam polymerization.

Nylon 66: the full name is polyadiptyl adipase adipase fiber, which is composed of adipic acid and adipase.

The common characteristics of polyamide 6 and polyamide 66 are: poor light resistance, low intensity and yellowing color under long-term sunlight and ultraviolet radiation.Its thermal performance is not good enough, also under the 150 ℃, after five hours namely yellow, strength and extension significantly to fall, shrinkage rate increase.Nylon 6, 66 filament has good low temperature resistance, under 70 ℃ below zero, its resilience change little.Its dc conductivity is very low, and it is easy to generate static electricity due to friction during processing. Its conductivity increases with the increase of moisture absorption and increases with the increase of humidity in accordance with the exponential function rule.Polyamide 6, 66 filament has strong microbial resistance ability, and its microbial resistance ability in silt water or alkali is second only to that of polyvinyl chloride.In terms of chemical properties, nylon 6 and 66 filament yarn have the function of alkali resistance and reducing agent, but have poor performance in acid resistance and oxidant resistance.
